WHAT TO WEAR TO YOUR FIRST CLASS
Choose clothes for a workout. Your attire should allow you to move without restriction. Please note: We train barefoot and on a mat; shoes are not permitted on the mat.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR FIRST CLASS
Please be at the dojo at least 10 minutes early to sign our waiver. After that, relax, we scale everything to your abilities! Our instructors are nothing if not patient. The focus will be on good technique and sound mechanics. We want you to be successful. You will find class is focused on the derivatives of three components: kihon (basic strikes), kata (choreographed movements) and kumite (sparring).
PROTECTIVE GEAR
We can provide optional protective gear, including shin guards, soft helmets and fingerless sparring gloves. If you require any additional protective gear, we’re happy to accommodate you.
